It’s Windows, as far as I understand, that is principally responsible for these outcomes.
“catastrophic problem caused by Avast Windupgrade” ? But those issues BSOD, etc….didn’t exist until 1803….so why do you start your sentence with the words: FYI Latest avast update (091203-0) is causing FALSE POSITIVE readings for at least two Trojans: WIN32:Zbot-MKK and Win32: Delf-MZG Worse, when you try and do the right thing (scan for problems) it just gets worse. Copy link Member 02JanDal commented Aug 7, 2014. The issue was successfully created but we are unable to update the comment at this time. I don’t like the company, and gave up on them a couple of years ago. Avast reporting malware in latest update 433. I wouldn’t be so quick to blame Avast either.
#LATEST AVAST UPDATE PROBLEMS WINDOWS 10#
Getting data out of might likely have concerns, or issues.īy imaging first, they would have helped to safeguard your position, and try a number of approaches, and ideally, they would have done all the work on a secondary cloned drive, leaving the main in tact, establishing what worked….and then applying it “for real”. While initially thought to be either an Avast or Windows 10 cumulative update issue, it was confirmed that the issue was caused by Avast and AVG programs installed on a computer. Instead, they/he/she appear to have just re-installed Windows. Then, they should have followed those instructions to the letter. The ‘technician’ firstly, should have completely imaged your SSD or HDD before they did “anything”. However, I would say the following….though clearly not helpful any longer…… I use IIS 7 on Win7 Ultimate Service pack 1. I too, am really sorry for what you have suffered. After latest update of Avast cant load localhost websites (browser loader keeps spinning) Firewall for port 80 is ok.
